2023 has seen many successes for club swimmers at county, regional and national levels.

Competitions are now coming thick and fast, and last weekend saw our second Level 3 meet in a row with many of our swimmers taking part in the Trowbridge meet.

This was our second meet of the season and despite the cramped poolside conditions, slippery pool trough which impacted the turns and the murky pool, there were some fantastic swims from all those who took part. There were also some swimmers gaining county qualifying times for the first time which was a great achievement.

This weekend saw our top swimmers take part in the South West Winter Regional Championships at Millfield.

This was our first targeted meet of the new season and with all the recent coaching changes it was great to see so many swimmers competing and enjoying their racing. It was a very long and full weekend of racing and we saw some amazing swims from all those who took part.

The Salisbury Stingrays Swimming Club has made an excellent showing at the Wiltshire County Swimming Championships this year. 54 of the young swimmers entered 385 races and achieved 236 personal best times.
