Wiltshire County Championships

We’re now in the midst of the Wiltshire County Swim Championships. The event is held over 9 days from 14th January to 19th February in Salisbury, Marlborough and Swindon. The championship is a short-course event (performed in a 25m pool) and sees competition from the best clubs in Wiltshire.
So far our Salisbury Stingrays have made an excellent showing. Our age-group (10-13 year olds) have made 71 final appearances and notched up 53 medals (11 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze). Well done!!!

Salisbury under 14s at the first leg of the Wiltshire County Champs

Good luck to the 14 year old plus swimmers still to compete. Their competition began in Swindon’s Link Centre last Sunday and continues to Marlborough College on Saturday before heading back to the north of the county.
