Summer Open Meet Success!

Thank you to everyone who took part in our successful Summer Open Meet on 11th and 12th June.
This is the first time we’ve done a 2-day open meet in many years and we’re delighted with how it went.
More than 250 swimmers took part over the 2 days. There were a total of 1600 race entries from 19 different clubs. Some of these clubs travelled for quite some distance to get to us.
Not only was it a great chance to showcase our club and our hospitality, the meet raised much-needed funds for Stingrays.
Thank you everyone for coming. A special thanks to all those who gave up their time to make this such an enjoyable and successful meet. We look forward to seeing you all next year!

Understanding what happens during maturation and how we can make sure the body grows effectively is vital for development into physically functional adults and can be the make or break time to becoming an elite athlete. A fantastic first weekend of the Wiltshire County Championships for the 10-13 age groups held at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre saw 6 of the Stingrays swimmers crowned as County Champion.
