Stingrays Shine at Bristol Meet and Masters Nationals

Fantastic results for Stingrays at the Bristol Early Bird Meet and Masters National Championships held at Sheffield Ponds Forge swimming pool.
Of the 23 clubs that took part at Bristol, Salisbury finished 4th in the ladies/girls and 5th in the boys/mens! A big well done to everyone who took part. Congratulations to Georgie Byam who won the Top Girl award at the competition!
Our Masters team represented by Collette Rosendale, Alex Richards and Sharon Allen put in good performances all round and several top 10 finishes. Alex swum lifetime bests in nearly every race and Sharon Allen came 3rd in her age group for 50m and 100m Breaststroke.

A fantastic first weekend of the Wiltshire County Championships for the 10-13 age groups held at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre saw 6 of the Stingrays swimmers crowned as County Champion. Competitions are now coming thick and fast, and last weekend saw our second Level 3 meet in a row with many of our swimmers taking part in the Trowbridge meet.
