CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Further to the communication earlier today the club committee have now met and we have also received updated advice from Swim England which states the following - "Having further reviewed the guidance, it is Swim England’s interpretation that club activity falls into the ‘public gathering’ category and therefore it is strongly advising clubs to consider cancelling or postponing activity – including events – until the end of May.
Swim schools should also make an informed decision on future lessons based on the current information from the Government." The full Swim England update is available here - https://www.swimming.org/swimengland/coronavirus-statement
Taking this new information on board and after much deliberation, it is with regret that the club has decided to cease all training activity immediately. There will therefore be no training until further notice.

A fantastic first weekend of the Wiltshire County Championships for the 10-13 age groups held at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre saw 6 of the Stingrays swimmers crowned as County Champion.
