Congratulations Libby and Oscar!

We’re delighted that Libby Byam (Senior Performance squad) and Oscar Bellinger (Age Group Performance squad) have been selected for the 2021-22 Swim England National Development Program!
Head Coach Chris White said that Libby and Oscar’s hard work during lockdown had really paid off and that their achievement was an inspiration to all aspiring swimmers in the club.
Both swimmers are really looking forward to beginning the programme. Libby says she is pleased to have another goal to aim for and looks forward to training! Oscar says he’s looking forward to the exciting journey ahead as well as the challenges!

Understanding what happens during maturation and how we can make sure the body grows effectively is vital for development into physically functional adults and can be the make or break time to becoming an elite athlete. A fantastic first weekend of the Wiltshire County Championships for the 10-13 age groups held at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre saw 6 of the Stingrays swimmers crowned as County Champion.
