KS3 v Dorchester – Playing away in Dorchester the KS3 team faced a challenging start to the season only being able to field the bare minimum number of seven players to face a full squad of thirteen from West Dorset. However the team worked hard and kept the score at 0-1 after the first quarter. There was no change to the score by half time despite continuing attempts at goal by Bobby Speirs supported by Jed Dennis and Danny McGovern. West Dorset edged into a two goal lead in the third quarter and goalkeeper Michael Netton was kept hard at work keeping their opponents score from creeping up further. Going into the final quarter the team rallied with team captain Katy Cutler scoring a goal almost immediately. However despite speedy newcomers Joe Fenwick and Rosie Cusack putting in excellent performances the team didn’t manage to pull the match back in time and the final score was 1-3.
