Club Organisation

Salisbury Stingrays is affiliated to Swim England, the national governing body for swimming in England. Affiliation ensures the club meets the standards required to compete in sanctioned events, access coaching qualifications and development pathways, and maintain appropriate safeguarding and welfare frameworks. As an affiliated club, Salisbury Stingrays is bound by Swim England's rules, codes of conduct and ethical standards, which sit alongside the club's own constitution in guiding how it operates.

Salisbury Stingrays is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered in England & Wales (charity number 1196909). The club's swimming activities cover competitive, leisure and Masters squads, and incorporate a Swim School open to children aged 4 to 12.

The club is governed by its Board of Trustees in accordance with its constitution, and the trustees are accountable to the Charity Commission. The day-to-day running of the club is carried out by trustees, appointed officers and volunteers, each responsible for one of the club's key operational areas, as set out in the chart below.
