New Head Coach Appointed

We are very pleased to let you all know that Chris White has been appointed as our new Head Coach.

Chris comes to us with a wealth of swimming experience. As a qualified Swim England Senior Swimming Coach, Chris has successfully coached swimmers at all levels on the ASA swimming pathway, including County, Regional, ASA National Events, the British Summer Championships and the British Championships. His swimmers have achieved multiple national medals.

On accepting the Head Coach position, Chris said

“I’m delighted to be joining Stingrays and am looking forward to meeting club members. I’ve been impressed with the vision, philosophy and the direction that the club wants to progress in. This matches my own ambitions and it should be exciting times at Stingrays in the coming months and years. I will be looking to help the club develop its community ethos and inclusivity by providing pathways to meet members’ needs – from a high performing “performance program” to a top-quality teaching program with an emphasis on skill development and fun learning. I look forward to building a whole club program which will see maximum opportunity for members to enjoy and be successful in the pool.”

We are delighted that Chris has joined Salisbury Stingrays and look forward to him starting as Head Coach in August.
