The first meet of the 2012/13 season kicked off with some great performances from 24 Stingrays Swimmers. With a condensed programme due to few than expected initial entrants, Stingrays swimmers were up against it, with little time between each race to prepare, where pre-season fitness became absolute in infamously challenging long course pool conditions. Notably, competing in their first open meet and all taking home personal best times; Harry Brown took home a gold, silver and bronze, Max Balshaw two silvers, India Rogers narrowly missing out on a medal and Lily Battersby clutching a number of Bronze medals. Solid performances from Matilda Bryant, Oni Taiwo and Emma Jackson secured further medals as well as, Jason Tang, Charlie Balshaw and James Stocks-Reid ensured the boys were not forgotten.

Overall Medal Haul was; 31 Gold, 20 Silver and 18 Bronze.
